I think you need to go to bank along with the DD receipt and they will let you know whether it is en-cashed or not.I think this is the easiest way.

for Draft, best is to go branch... oncall they always give you non-clear replies. So, if you are also 1-Oct list, wait for a day or two and then visit branch.

I have just checked the Oct. sheet and found that two guys had their application package received by CIO on Oct. 4th and 5th, this is impossible. 4th and 5th are weekend, no one from CIO would sign the package.
