In Sep 2014 thread someone mentioned that his cousin's application received by CIC on Oct 12th and CC Charged today...

Anyone here whose CC charged?

Nope, I just saw that too. they received mine on Oct 2nd and I haven't got any charges yet. I even called my bank yesterday asking about any declined payment and there was non.

I'm not sure how credible this person is though

I'm a newbie to the group, I have applied for PR under CEC, Sent the documents on Oct 14th it reached Sydney on Oct 16th.

I applied the application under the NOC code 2173, as per CIC website, the SUB QUOTA for this NOC code which is 1000, which has already reached.
I'm not sure whether my application will through.
Any thoughts on this?

do we have some where this count? could you please share the link where we can see the quota for these NOC 217* .

Hi Megh 30..Can you check whether you're refering to FSWP cap of 1000 coz for CEC there is no sub-cap that is more than 200 even for a NOC B list. Infact, for NOC 2173, there is no cap as it falls under NOC A!! Can you paste the link or something that you saw where it is by removing the (.) put (") and post the link.

I'm confused, please refer the link posted by ABS_1382, I'm not able to post links(for some reason). As per it, there is a sub-quota. My understanding may be wrong.

That link is for FSW category, not CEC. Can you please confirm again, under which category you applied?
