You may be the only one left here in this forum but you are not alone in the CEC OCt 2014 applicants for sure.
My advice to you if you did not do that already is to go for upfront medicals as everyone now getting MR and doctors are busy, so schedule yours and get it done this will for sure save you time.

Hi guys,

I would really appreciate if you can provide me some info on what happens after the medical is done. Will the doctor provide me with a confirmation no. ? Also, i believe they will sent the report to CIC by email. But, do i need to send any confirmation from my side as well or not? Please advice.

You'll get a confirmation sheet from the doctor, and they will automatically upload your results to the system through emedical (assuming your doctor is one of the many who has that).

October 20th applicant.. with upfront medical and upfront RPRF done in March.. still waiting to hear from CIC.

My ecas hasn't even been updated to say 'medical received', however I called CIC to verify if they have and they confirmed it was received April 7th.

I'm really hoping this wraps up soon! My health card expires today and Service Ontario refused me twice with renewing health card on my new open work permit, even though I have a contract stating I'm a full-time, permanent employee

I'm trying to call CIC since 8 a.m., but call is not going through, it's too busy(automated voice system says).
Any idea, What is the best time to call them ?

I called CIC last time in March and agent told me to call back on April 21,and he mentioned they will be able to assist me then.
I understand he said April 21 because at that time processing time was 18 months, but I still wanna give it a try and I may get lucky to get some information on my file.

I am nearly the exact dates as you I just paid the fee a week earlier. I am from visa exempt country so I am hoping my COPR is in my mailbox at home
