If you check the FSW - CCP Ottawa thread you will see that late October applicants are already getting their PPRs. It's ridiculous.

Now the timeline is increased from 12 months to 13 months based on the last 1 year !!!

I wouldn't be surprised if the time-line goes beyond 13 months ::) :-X

from the recent posting by few applicants i noticed its from the AOR received date.
Even on the GCMS note the due date for the completion of a file given as 13 months from AOR date.

From AOR date cannot be true because the note on CIC site reads like this:

Note: If it has been longer than the time shown above since you applied and your visa office has not contacted you, you may wish to contact the visa office that is processing your application. The Call Centre does not have information about applications processed outside Canada.

This would imply it is from application received date.

Hi,

I have applied my BOWP on March 18th. But I forgot to add AOR document. Is it mandatory to attach the AOR to get BOWP?

I called couple of times to CIC customer support, but they said, without AOR they will not be able to process the application?

During the BOWP decision, Do they have access to check my history by using my UCI and take the decision or they rely only on AOR document that I should suppose to attach?

Thanks.
Selm

Hi Selim,

they are supposed to check your history and they will see your AOR.
You should not be worry about it.

I am confused now, on CIC website, it says processing time is considered from the date our application reaches to the office then how come its from AOR date? Almost all October applicants got AOR after four months so will we get our Medical in October and PR in almost March 2016?? As I got my AOR in Mid feb so will I get my PR in March 2016 ( after 13 months)? Please advice.

Hi Sam78000,

Thanks for your reply. I agree with your point and my perception is also same like you.
But when I called CIC, they said, without AOR document it can't be processed and they said they will reject it. But again they said, its based on the person who review my file. Little tense with BOWP as I have to get it by before 28th May.

Hi,

Almost all October applicants got AOR after four months and I have seen the other "months" applicants received it after 1 month (30 days). :P

We know that processing times for the AOR can vary, but can we consider it as a delayed average of CIC regarding our processes? :'(

I know that there's nothing left to do for now, but wait for CIC to get back to us and request documents or send the
medical request. :-[

However, in your experience, do you know if really is a good idea to do the UFM since it is only valid for 12 months? :-\

Thanks in advance. :)
