My dear friend...I am not sure which format are you using....I scanned 36 pages for 4 passports....and 6 other documents and it all came under 3 MB.....
I chose pdf with 300 dpi as resolution.....

I gathered about 150 pages with supporting documents, which include quite a few pictures. I tried different software, but the close I can get is 12MB. Probably I have to delete half of those, just not sure if the evidence of relationship would still be strong enough?

Anyone can tall if 9.97 MB attachment size is good or bad? ::) I got the acknowledgement email.

No matter what you send, CIC will reply with the acknowledgement email right away, which is an automatic response. I got as well and the next day they "actually" replied, asking me to resend all documents in one single file and should be under 5MB.

Let me know when they reply. If 9.97MB is OK, I will work towards that size.

Thanks

Hi
I am an October CEC applicant. I am planning to change employer. Does it necessary to inform CIC people that I am changing my employe. I think CEC will assess me based on the previous qualifying work experience.
I really got a good job offer from another employer. Should I accept the new offer or stick with the old employer until I get PR ?
What happen if they call my previous employer and I am already not there in that company !!!!
Thanks

Hi Jamieboy,

As far as I know you do not need to inform them about the change of employer. They will evaluate your experience in Canada according to what you reported in your application.

Please check whether you need to apply for a new work permit (if that is the case).

You should inform CIC of your employment changes, as it is one of the items they specifically state in the AOR. But changing of employer does not impact your application. So if you want to take the offer, there's no issue there. (Provided that your work permit allows the employer change) It might actually be even better to inform them of employment changes since they would already know that you no longer work for the place in case they call your current employer. You can avoid confusing them.

My friend be careful not to send nude photos, etc to show evidence of relationship.

I would wait for their reply if I were you. At the same time you can prepare a reduced file. If they do ask for it, you can send right away.

btw, what have you provided? I tried deleting a few images and it's still somewhere around 9MB....

Hi,

Most probably according to my perspective and gut feeling; Sept 1 to mid applicants will start getting MR's from June end. Sept mid to end - August mid/end.

Hi folks, I sent all documents to CPC through email regarding spouse add-on. Do you know if they will reply an acknowledgment email (not the auto-reply one) saying they have received them?

My documents were submitted about a week ago. so far no response yet. End of the month will be my 60 days deadline. And I am not able to submit my spouse's FBI report as it took 12-14 weeks to process. I did send explanation letter and other proof though.

Hi,

Yes. They do send an acknowledgement email stating that they have received it. You should be getting it soon. I did get it.

After approximately a month, you will receive notice for paying the PR application fees.
