Can you not apply for an OWP now that you have an application in?
Yep, but I really don't like being in an Implied Status, because what if the application gets rejected?! I will need to stop working immediately, which is a shame! Anyway, praying it won't happen!!!

Your SVO is Winnipeg? Didn't even know they had a VO there lol
When I got a GU the other day so I gave them a call, and they said Etobicoke is processing my application - I assumed it was the PVO. It was Edmonton a couple weeks ago. I could have completely misunderstood them and Edmonton is my Primary VO and Etobicoke is now my SVO.

Hello, please could you help me with this GCMS application (Tourist Visa was denied), here is my timeline:
  • On January 17, I request the GCMS notes from IRCC.
  • On February 13th, I request by mail to IRCC the status of my application (Do not answer).
  • On February 28th I send a second email to IRCC to know the status of my request (Do not answer).
In view of my concern in not having an answer from IRCC, I had copied to several governmental institutions ATIP online services and ATIP online service responds to me on March 3rd, indicating this:
On the basis of the information provided in your message, you have submitted
an application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Currently, access to information and privacy requests (ATIP) to IRCC are submitted through the IRCC.
to IRCC are submitted through this pilot website.

To provide additional context, there are currently two separate platforms for the submission of ATIP requests.
for the submission of ATIP requests:

  • Treasury Board's ATIP Online Application Service (AORS).
  • The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada pilot website.
As the platforms are two different systems, applications submitted through the Pilot Website will not be accepted.
through the Pilot Website will not appear on your AORS dashboard when you log in to your ATIP Online. Unfortunately, requests submitted through the Pilot Website cannot be added or linked to an AORS account only requests made through your account will be visible in AORS.
To find out the status of your application, please contact the ATIP Coordinator

Coordinator of the government institution that processes each of your applications.

Now get more confused and lost in the application process!!!!
On March 17th it will be 60 days and nothing from the IRCC to give me any answers on the status of my application.
Can anyone help me where I can go or send mail to get feedback and send me my GCMS notes from IRCC.
Thank you

I am not sure why it is taking more than 40 days to get your GCMS notes. I have applied three times and I always received within 30-35 days. Since I don't have anyone in Canada I used gcmsapply.com to apply. Costs nearly $6. To apply to both CBSA and IRCC it is less than $12.

I've been waiting since Dec 30 for one of them, and another since Jan 30... though I applied directly through ATIP page.

Hey guys,

Jan-12, 2023: Request for additional document: Police Certificate from China. Deadline Mar-13, 2023.
Mar-12, 2023: I submitted an LOE with a Request to extend the deadline for another month, where I explained that it took me a while to find a representative in China who applied for a police certificate on Mar-5, 2023. I supported my request with email correspondence with the Chinese consulting agencies for ex-pats etc., and with the receipt of acceptance from the local police department.

I will get my police certificate by next week, then I will have to translate it into English at the Chinese Embassy (I guess). Hopefully, it will be ready for submission by later next week.

I do not see anywhere I could attach the police certificate to my EE profile after I submitted the LOE on Mar-12.

Do you think I should email IRCC or call them ASAP? If calling, how do I better do it: I am in Canada, but I am using an American phone number and I have never been able to get through: their line is broken.

A bit worried, but much more confident, knowing that my police certificate from China (which is almost impossible to get) is on its way to me.

I am AOR Nov 25, and BG check has been in progress since Feb 28th. Everything else is completed. Was BG the last one for you to turn into "Completed"? How long had it been "In Progress" before completion on tracker?

Yeah the BG check was last to be done . It changed same day as completed when it showed “we are processing your BG check” . That was on Mar 9.

I believe you guys are just in a queue to get a portal email generated for you... not like we are siting in limbo with everything completed but BG not started.

I think I am one step even further behind.
For me, tracker shows BG check and Eligibility as not even started so far.
