I just saw an update on my cic page. It said, "application updated" or something like that but no actual email or any sort of notification in my profile.
All the fields look the same. Hope the process is moving along.
Where exactly do you see this update on CIC page?

CEC Applicant
AOR : May 21st 2019
MEP: 2nd July 2019

Estimated time to completion displayed: 4 months

Does anyone know what happens next?
I am living in Canada right now. Do I need to submit biometrics?
Hey guys,
Got the golden e-mail today.

Hi Guys,

Need suggestions please

My AOR :4th May
MEP:17th June
Background status since MEP: we will send u a message when we start background check.
CEC Inland

I called CIC they said earlier my case was in Vancouver, then 10 later I called i was told it is in Montreal.
They dont seem to give me any information apart from this say SLA is 6 months but i see people getting PPR for May AOR dates and mine seems nothing has started . I am worried if something wrong should I apply for GCMS notes or any other way to get a better idea whats going on.

Thanks

If you check processing times on IMMI tracker, Montreal is slowest possible CPC in Canada. However, it completes processing files in 4 to 5 months for CEC Inland. Have patience and pray your file moves faster.

thank you so much!! I also called them and they've told me that my application was received on July 10th (even if I went to the office in Toronto on July 4th). Finger crossed, no news yet.
Please let me know when you will hear back/receive your check.

Thanks! Good to know, now I'm not so stressed like before :) Still haven't received mine, but as per your experience, I still have one more week to wait :) Thanks again!

Hi all, I just uploaded RCMP clearance document, outside status (Current status) is changed to Submitted but with details it still shows "We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details." Can anyone please suggest how much time they will take to update this? Is it a common scenario or did i miss anything?

It took about a day for mine to change to "The additional documents you provided have been uploaded."

Hello Everyone!

I am a CEC Inland Applicant. I have a dependent which is my spouse and un-accompanying child (my partner's daughter).

Timeline:
AOR - May 26th, 2019
MEP - July 4th
Received an email update - July 5th

I am not sure if there was any ghost update. Where exactly can I see the ghost update in my account?
I'm a bit scared since I have read comments of others that they get their PPR so fast just a few days after MEP.

Called CIC on Friday, lady on the phone said, file is at Vancouver Office and background check is in process..
CEC!!
AOR: May 19
MEP: June 27
BG: We are processing your background check.
No updates afterwards!!

Checked the immi trakcer, wasn't of much help.
Does anyone know about the average handle time of Vancouver Office?
