I am in Canada on a PGWP I cant go back to school while on that. My other option is to wait until 2 year experience I guess

Of course you can, I am going back to school for a second master while in a PGWP, I got a second study permit while waiting for my PR which I already applied for.

Hi all! hope you will be able to help me.. I submitted my PR app in May 2019 and last week I was being asked to provide RCPM fingerprints, which I did, last Thursday on July 4th, in an office in Toronto. My concern - I did not heard back anything yet and I'm a bit concerned because I was under the impression that this is a pretty fast forward process and that I should receive it in max 3 business days.. Can anyone share their experience please? Thank you!

HI, my status is similar. RCMP requested on 28th June and i did on same day in Toronto. But have not received anything yet. I called RCMP guys, they told my application was approved on 5th July but they are having some delays in mail delivery. for me they it started on 12th July and i am hoping to receive same this week. Don't worry. Will update you once i receive it.

It is extremely fast!

Did you have any travel history? How many reference letters did you submit? How many jobs in the past in total?

Just trying to understand the pattern of documents submitted when they issue PPR so fast.

Thank you and yes, one trip that was a week in length to Mexico and then a few trips here and there between Canada and the USA.

I have had two NOC Skill Type B jobs in Canada and submitted one reference letter for each (for a total of two). 5 jobs in the past total.

Guys, I had a temp position (until August 2019) when I submitted my application. However, just got promoted and a permanent position within the same company, should I upload my Job Offer to my application? Or since it’s going forward it wouldn’t impact anything?

my profile got updated on July 11 and Background check status changed to Not Applicable from Your application is in progress we will send you message when we start your background check. Today again It got updated and Background Status again Changed to “ your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”
Is there any concern? I’m worried about it.

Guys, just wanted to share this with you...
Called CIC today and basically since the application is based on the profile previously created, the permanent position offered starting in July wont impact any decision.

Also the officer said that my application is complete; however, edibility is still being checked.

Update: I got in. They gave me the option for a call-back. Took it.

My application got transferred from Sydney to Vancouver.
