Work for your employer in Canada for a full year first. Then obtain a letter from your employer stating that they will continue to employ you in this role for a year after you become a PR.

Thanks for the response. My employer is willing to provide me the Job offer with one year validity. However,I read somewhere on the forum that LMIA exempt work permits are not eligible for EE Job offer points? Is that correct?

No - that's not correct.

As long as you've worked for the employer for a full year, hold a closed work permit with the employer named and get the letter, you are good.

While filling out my EE i got this option:

Was a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) issued for the job offer in Canada? (Option Yes/No)

Now since i am LMIA exempt what should i answer here?
