Hey, How long did you get the new work permit? I am in the same situation, you know how annyoing it is

Hi everyone,

I am cec inland applicant with AOR 26th April 2016. (1 day left for 9 months mark)

My BG went in progress around in 20th September. and since then my security check is in progress.

My WP was expiring on Feb 17th, so I applied for BOWP on Dec 16th and got BOWP approved on 11th Jan.

Babies are born in 9 months, but PR is not :-X

I am hopeful, anxious, mad, patient and sad all at the same time; and not sure if there is a single word for this situation.

It took me around 30 days from the day of application submission (applied in the month of Dec). BOWP document arrived after 5 days (of CIC approval) at my address.

I am sure, if we know FSW will be faster, some people would apply FSW instead .

CIC's policy is really arbitrary . result unnecessary complains.
