Yes I am 100 % sure.
I found out that it is based on my family situation.
I have addopted children, and therefor we have 7 children at home.
Immigration is afraid that we will go into social assistance.
I don't understand, because we are already 3 years in Canada without any child beneefits and tax returns, and Still I have a good payd job.
We didn't come for benefits, but this is what immigration was telling me last week.
We will wait and see what comes.
Everybody a very good 2016 in advance.

Any Updates????

Hi,

I am currently in Canada , got ITA(under FSW).

Do I must apply as "FSW inland" or I can apply as "FSW outland". Is there any option anywhere.

I am having dilemma because I may return to my home country after 3 months.

Any help will be highly appreciated!

I don't think you specify that anywhere implicitly. Inland/Outland is just a general description used by CIC to describe where someone is applying from. The application process will still be the same.

We got an update on MyCIC account that medicals are passed (done November 03). And didn't received an email about it. I raised CSE in regards to that matter on December 08, and requested GCMS notes few days after...

Hi Guys,

I think CEC category is very slow, when compare to other Category. I got my AOR Oct 09, Medical passed but background check "Not started".

At one point it had the fastest processing time but it doesn't seem like that anymore/ :/

Hi Friends,
I'm CEC Inland too. Submitted on Dec. 19th, Medicals passed on Jan. 5th and same day my BG went into In Progress.
All the very best......

I am inland CEC and submitted the PR application on 14th December.
Anyone applied or applying for BOWP here who are on PGWP?

Great. What did you answer for the below questions. Can you please help. I am trying to fill the form?

1.
I am applying for one or more of the following:
a. A work permit with the same employer
b. Restoration of your status as a worker
c. An initial work permit or work permit with a new employer
d.Temporary Resident permit
What should I choose?

2)
Under Current country of residence question for the dates From and To what should I mention? The clue is the start date of your immigration status in your current country of residence. Now I came as an international student, so I mention the start date of my study permit or start date of my PGWP?

3)
For Details of intended work, I am mentioning my current job details.
What should mention under the "Duration of expected employment"

4) Under Education, should I also mention my Bachelors in India? I did a 1 year post graduate program here in Canada which I think would be the highest.
5) For Work History for 10 years, there are only 3 rows in the form, how do I insert another row for another job?

Lastly, did you attach all the documents in the checklist as well?

Thanks!

1: C
2: Your PGWP issue and expiry dates I think. Not 100% sure. I forgot the online form.
3: Mention your current work. To date should be blank so they know you are currently working. "Duration of expected employment" is N/A
4: I think all your post-secondary education should be mentioned.
5: I am not sure how to insert another row. There must be an option.

Also attach a letter of explanation saying you are applying for a BRIDGING OPEN work permit and you attached AOR of your PR application.

How did you do it? I had a PGWP and wasn't able to get my BOWP because I didn't have a LMIA. It's gonna be almost 90 days since I lost my PGWP. I'm as a tourist right now waiting for the PR. Got AOR back in September 3rd before my PGWP expired. Hopefully I can stay here and get the dreamed PR soon

You have to apply before your PGWP expires :(
