cec file rejected because cic did not received my PCC

Hello Seniors,
I filled my appl. in november 2012, yesterday i received an email saying your application has been rejected because cic didnt received my PCC which i mailed to ottawa-cpp way before the last date of receiving it. I have tracking number of the canada post registered mail with the sign of the person who have received it.
Seniors please help me out in this matter and guide me if anything can be done to review my file again.

you need to contact CIC by email, provide tracking number and signature snapshot and request to re-open your file. If the PCC was lost not at your fault, they will give you time to submit a new one. Regardless of the contact to CIC i would suggest you to start obtaining the new one immediately to save some time.

Did you got any Email asking to submit PCC to CIC?

4 months back I submitted my PCC to CPP_Ottawa and now they requested me to submit again.

In your case they should have requested for PCC as PCC is not mandatory document and they can request it latter.

yes i received email from them and sended the same within a week to cpp_ottawa

it was not delayed from my side, i mailed them within a week and as per canada post delivery report it was delivered within 15 days of asking my PCC.......and now after 2 months i got rejection on the basis of PCC not being received by cic

Hi,

I would not worry about this. The fault is on CIC. Just email them as soon as possible explaining everything about what happened. Provide the proofs that you sent it on their request. I am 100% sure that they will open your file again and approve your PR.

I think you sent it to Wrong Address.

I got a Email to send my PCC and they Mentioned that I would need to send the copy to below address and they gave the Address referring VO office number.

I think if you don't send it to whom you requested I think thats the reason it never gone to the VO office who is requested instead it went to CPP-Ottawa central mail box and it takes time to update all the records etc..

Check your Email once if they mentioned any points regarding Address where to send.

Guys,

Whenever you need to send any documents to CIC, you have first create a pdf of that document and send it first via email to CIC through your CIC account and then post your document to CIC.

PCC can not be emailed,every applicant must MAIL the original document to CPP-OTTAWA.
but its good to keep copies for your record of very document sent to cic.

in my case they mentioned to send the document to below address where the address is refering to a VO officer address.

"Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the address indicated below"

Address - Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa - XXXXXX
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
219 Laurier Avenue West Ottawa ON K1A 1L1
Canada

That means I have to send with the VO officer number in the address?

its not mandatory to include the VO number as long as he sent the PCC to the cpp-ottawa include his file number,date of birth,full name they should be able to link it with his application.so if the applicant is sure that his PCC was received by cpp-ottawa within the frame time given to him and he has proof of delivery i would suggest he scan the delivery proof and email it to cpp-ottawa ASAP,im very sure(100%) that his file will be open as it is a fault of cic side.

There is no harm in sending an email before sending the original documents for proof.
Am I right or wrong?

yes there is no harm of course and you can do that but CIC advice to keep messages to low and only when its needed so in another word if its not highly important i would not email them.
they are trying to use their resources to better process applications as fast as possible,thats why they usually ignore repeatitive emails that is just annoying in their definition.
