HI All

I have filled out Express Entry profile and submitted. I am looking to apply under CEC (if I get ITA) I have PGWP and have one year experience.

When I was filling out Express Entry Profile, It asks for Proof of Funds/How much money you are bringing to Canada. I have entered my yearly salary package that my company is giving me (without deducting tax)?

Is that correct or I will need to modify it ? If it needs modification what value should I enter there?

As I will apply under CEC so I guess I do not need to show proof of funds though. This situation is making me confused.

Appreciate your help and advice on this matter.

Thanks

You entered your full salary as the amount of funds you have available? Do you have that amount of money in your account and can show proof of that to CIC if they request it?

You just need to enter an amount greater than the minimum funds required to settle from the LICO table (Although you only have to prove half of it, e.g ~15k for 2 people) and then ensure you have that money in your account so you can show proof of it to CIC when requested.

I have indirect question related to this. When they ask about family members I have 5 (siblings, parents). But as none of them are applying with me should I just mention 1 (i'm the only one planning to immigrate for now)? Would that decrease my funding requirement? What should I do? Thanks

Your family is you, your spouse, your children, your children's children, all of them who are dependent on you. Your siblings, parents do not fall in that category.

Yes, it should reduce requirement of funds from you.

So that means I should select 1 :)

As I will apply under CEC, and have full-time job offer (don't have LMIO) and I have modified proof of funds. But under CEC do I need to provide proof of funds or bank statements ?

Hi all,

I have a question related to this:

I'm a single applicant under the EE 2015, I recieved ITA, 473 points. Now I have 60 days to submit my final application with all supporting documents.

Questions:

For proof of funds: How does the proof of funds work under EE 2015 FSW? What is is the expected document?
I have fixed deposits worth the amount needed. These FD's are in a joint name. First name is mine & second name is that of my father.
Does this count as a valid proof of funds ?

Also, what is the date from which this proof of funds is counted. For example: If I submit my application on 3rd April 2015, will they check the availability of funds (the proof bearing the date 03/04/2015 ) from this date? Or will it be from the time I made my EE entry application on 1 Jan 2015?

Can anybody advise ?

Hi All,

For a family of 1, according to the LICO table, proof of $12,000 in the bank is required. My question is, to satisfy this requirement, would letters stating willingness to provide financial support by one or multiple high earning family members who are PR/Citizenship holders suffice?

I'm filling out the CEC profile, and I am wondering if there is a point right now. My PGWP expires in a few weeks. No LMIA from current employer.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I was not able to find an answer on the Help Page.

Thank you very much.

No. You will need to have monies in the bank.

The only way this will work is if one of those wealthy relatives was willing to put $12000 in the bank in an account owned by you, and give you a letter, as ironclad as possible, stating that this is a gift and is in no way something you are expected to pay back. If you have a relative like that (and we all wish we did!) that might work.

Hi All, My question related to this topic is that is it important to show the required funds in account or having the property in my name for much bigger value can help as well? Can presenting the property documents serve the purpose? ?

Please advise.

Thanks.
