Anyone got PPR recently? still there is no update on my application. only 2 weeks are remaining to complete 6 month since I submitted my application.

What Can I do if processing time exceeds more than 6 months?

19 days on my processing time.
Did you request your notes?
And while you still have days on your processing time, there is nothing you can do.
Also, after the time is up, all the actions you can take are communicate and inquiry, unfortunately for 20% of the application the waiting time is bigger....which sucks.

Do you know if you were selected for detail security check? You can see that on your notes.

Actually I did not order notes so I do not know whether I have been selected for detail security check or not. Anyway what is detail security check? How it is different from other security check?

Ok, from reading so many blogs and forums there are a few things that make an application takes extra time:

1 - Since the volume of application is big, some applications(usually 20%) takes more than 6 months for CIC to analyse. It sucks but is just time.
2 - If they request additional documents - is in your best interest to upload as fast as we can. The CIC works with an " BFD" or " bring forward date ". https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...ads/question-about-bring-forward-date.105536/
And i am pretty sure they put the analizes of your application on "hold" because you are "missing a document".
3 - If you decided to include a spouse/common-law in the middle of your analyzes.
4 - They select random application for a deep Security screen and that sucks. Because they send you application to all the security agencies and that can take A LOT OF TIME.

I would suggest that you order your notes as soon as possible. It takes around 30/35 days for you to received the notes back. You will have a better understanding of which stage is your application. And what is going on.

can you provide me link from where I can order the notes?

Security is done by CBSA and CSIS, in max cases, CBSA is involved and in some cases, CSIS is involved. When CSIS is involved people name it detailed security screening.
You can not check security related comments in gcms, you need to request CBSA and CSIS notes for this
