Friends,

I received ITA on 12-Dec-2018 and I am on closed WP expiring on 24-Mar-2019.
My medicals will be done by next week. Should I submit the application upfront and hope to get CoPR before 24-Mar-2019. Someone told me that there are high chances my application to be Rejected as my status is only valid for 3 months.
Should I apply for Open workPermit before submitting the application and attach the reference too. My employer will not extend the WP

I don't think application will be rejected on the basis of status. Once the next set of doc are submitted, you will be receiving an AOR which says that the letter can be used to apply for a bridging open work permit as an implied status. My wp is going to expire by April 2019 and I am going to apply for a BOWP till i get PR status.

Is it required to upload IELTS certificate in optional section?

Also I uploaded our pic as PDF. Does pic need to be in JPEG format?

Any information on that would be helpful.

You need to apply for BOPW (bridging open work permit) once your file is in process. You will need the confirmation page of your application to apply for it.

Hey guys..does the CEC work experience has to be 1 year straight..?? thnks

1 year /1560 hours (30 hours a week). Doesn't have to be straight. They will consider 30 hours a week as full time.

Did anyone apply December and get Medical Passed yet ?. I applied on Dec 15th and did not get any update.
It usually takes 7-10 days to get Medical passed. Maybe because of holiday
