It is not that in order to get an ITA early I gave false information. CIC does not know this, therefore if anything comes of it, it will be up to you to convince them you did not falsify information on purpose.
The PEBC said, it was actually contacted by CIC asking for my report. So I assume that the CIC saw that letter about my document evaluation and then requested for the report. More like CIC is verifying the report actually exists. I believe they do this for everyone who submits an ECA of any nature.
I will post the actual letter I received from CIC .... the following is the actual wording..
In order for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to process your application, we will need to review and verify your Education Credential Assessment (ECA) evaluation report by using Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC)`s online service. To date, we have not been able to verify your report. PEBC has indicated that you did not use the approved CIC-FSWP application process on their website, and therefore they are unable to release any information to our office.
In order to allow IRCC to process your application for permanent residence, please contact PEBC as soon as possible to request that your ECA report be made available to us. Please be advised that you may need to order a duplicate report and select CIC as a recipient of PEBC evaluation report. I think that sums up the entire issue: the proper procedure was not followed from the start. It is very important to read up, and understand, the appropriate processes that CIC have in place.
