They updated the processing times today again. The processing time for CEC is increased from 14 months to 15 months!! This does not comply with what they said last week.
According to the news and also immigration website they want to make the process easier and faster for CEC!!!! So why they increased the processing time?!?!?!?!

where you stay in canada.......!!!??

if you come under vancouver section check with vancouver consulate.!!

two seperate applications for PCC and BC.
two seperate envelops along with return envelops.........!!

two seperate drafts .......!!

i think one is around 50 dollars another one is around 60 dollara....!!!

check the consulate web for fee for application and send it through VFS...............!!!

if you r in nearby to any consulate you can go directly and do that.!! as it is less time consuming...!!

Hi qveronica,

Yes you have to take your language exam before applying.

You must meet these minimum requirements to apply for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class:
plan to live outside the province of Quebec
be either:
a temporary foreign worker with at least two years of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in Canada (NOC 0,A,B), or
a foreign graduate from a Canadian post-secondary institution with at least one year of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in Canada
have gained your experience in Canada with the proper work or study authorization
apply while working in Canada – or – within one year of leaving your job in Canada
include the results of an independent language test (from an agency designated by CIC) with your application

Please see the following link for more info:
