So I called CIC and they told me, my application has been finalized and approved. But now I have to wait for PPR email.

Do you have any idea how much time you have to wait?

I asked that question to them. They said, they can't give any specific timeline as it's case by case basis. I think, it will be another waiting ...

I just called the CIC, about my ghost update on yesterday. They confirmed yesterday my security passed. And I asked them to provide the details about my eligibility and criminality, she said all passed. But she didn't confirm it is finalized or approved.

Now we see things are flowing. SO definitely we the left overs have some traction .
Hope fully we would get the COPR in one shot - like a batch notification.

this is what happened to me. and in couple of days all got approved (not online but on the file). So sit tight, you are almost there.

Earlier this month: They told me criminality is in progress and security not started
Then got first ghost update
Mid of this month: Called again and asked for the ghost update. But they said background check still in process.
Then got second ghost update
End of this month: Called again, and they said application approved but have to wait for PPR email.

How long does it take to get through? When I call, it never connects saying the call volume is too high.

for first 2 tries, i got same answer. I kept trying back to back. on 3rd try i was in line and wait was 20 minutes.

Aor aug 7 and ip2 Jan 15 and I’ve called them twice today and computer says-
Tuesday Aug 7 received...we are reviewing your eligibility and background check right now. We can't connect you to agent right now. Sorry

Ha ha. Its generic my dear friend. This is my observation (as movais also ack), you have to call back to back. If you really wanna talk to them, you have to try back to back for at-least 4 times before you should surrender (but only for that time and again do this after 3-4 hours or next day). Keep trying. its a matter of couple of more days of our struggle guys.

I’ve checked the forum for FSW and August people getting pprs like everyday.
Hopefully cec people should get soon too.

8 days left to 6 months and application moved to ip 2 on Jan 15.
Hard to wait more but ain’t do nothing.
