That's true...please share ur experience and Do u have a US visa or do u plan to Flag pole....

If you are flag poling, do check with the visa officer on the US side if this administrative refusal should be mentioned on the future Visa applications for US - I know this has been debated 1000 times but I never saw a conclusion ;D

How many business days it took to get your passport back from CIC?

Just got rcmp criminal check request again. I sent one in January 2015. They want again. Does anyone know if ppr comes anytime soon after this. I already gave medical in feb 2016z

I've sent RCMP for the second time on Mrach 6th and RPRF was paid on the same day. Still waiting for DM on e-cas...

Passport Request: 10:00 AM March 02, 2016

Passport Sent: 7:00 PM March 02, 2016

Passport Received at Ottawa: 11:30 AM March 04, 2016

Visa Issued: March 07, 2016

PP Tracker Activated: 06:00 PM Mar 18, 2016

Passport & COPR Received: 12:30 PM Mar 21, 2016

Hello all,

I got my PPR but i am in Peru, when CPC sent htheir email i sent one back letting them know where i was. It has been two weeks. Does anyone typically know how long they would take to set this up so that i can get my passport stamped?

I highly doubt you can do that. CIC office in Ottawa isn't open to the public. I'm pretty sure everything in or out of their building is through couriers

What i know is that you don't need to go all the way to the US side and get refused entry and return. There is a break in the line between us and canada posts where you can make a U turn and directly check at Canada immigration. But that point of return is not clearly marked i believe, so may ppl end up going to the US immigration and return with a entry refusal stamp to canada immigration.

I received the RCMP PC yesterday, does any one know whether I need to mail the original copy to CIC or just email the scanned copy? What they want mentioned in their email was really confusing...

Havent had DM yet, but all other ecas updates seem to have been at the weekend..

Likely they batch process everything to save costs. Sunday would make sense, as they advise that ECAS is updated on Tuesday's (which gives them a day to fix any IT issues).
