Hello all,

According to your experience is there any average of how many days they take to request the passport after paying the RPRF?

Sharing my timeline:
1- We received your application for permanent residence on August 7, 2014.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 28, 2014.
3. We started processing your application on October 29, 2014.
4. We sent you correspondence on May 28, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
5. Medical results have been received.
6. We sent you correspondence on March 5, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Number 6 was sent when they requested the fee.

Hi All, I received PPR request yesterday. The PPR email is addressed to me (primary applicant). I have my spouse and daughter added in my application. But there is no mention of their name and UCI in the email. Is it expected and I will send my passport along with my dependents for stamping? Or shall I get separate email for my dependents. Seniors, please advice.

Call CIC before taking action and sending passport..

If they are included in your application , then the PPR you received is for you and all your dependents.
Follow the instructions in the email and courier all the passports to CIC

Hi All,

Received Passport request today.... You may check my timeline on the left. ECAS still showing three lines only.

Here are my questions.

my son has american passport & I believe US is visa exempt country. So should I send his passport or not ?
Do I need to provide any covering letter by providing the details

Please suggest.

I have no update since 30 days I did my RCMP, called CIC to know if they got the RCMP report and talked to two different agents, they refuse to open the file and check status. Just wanted to know if CIC got the RCMP report. One said it takes 45 days to show up on file and other said wait 90 days. Some kinda joke, I even requested to check if anything was received. They just say if u did ur fingerprints then dont call again and just wait.

Anyone waiting for this long after RCMP ?

I had RCMP request too in Feb 10 and had it done on Feb 12. It was received by CIC on Feb 20.

You just need to send email and ask about it, they will reply in 2 weeks whether they received or not.

Thank you my friend, I sent an email and Case Specific Enquiry two weeks ago, lets hope they respond.

Finally got my BOWP today for me & my wife(dependent).

Timelines: BOWP applied on Nov 5th.

Last Work Permit Expired : Nov 15 2015.

Waiting for PPR on the CEC application.
