HI All,

I have paid RPRF upfront. I have the receipt number. How do I check status based on my receipt number ?

Identification Type : Receipt Number (IMM5401)
Identification Number: R***(9 digit no followed by "R")

Normally it takes 3-7 days to able to login in ECAS through RPRF receipt no..

thats strange, when did yoou do your first medicals?
was there anything unusual with the medical report? (I was told when doing mine, if they find anything unusual they will contact me before submitting results to cic)

sigh, this whole processing is beginning to stress me out. All I do is pray everything will be finalised quickly

First medical done on 18th Jan
This is the second additional medical test requested.
The First additional test they requested (2nd Feb) returned normal ( well not exactly normal..but nothing to be worried about). May be this request is a followup on that test. no idea.
The First additional test was requested due to slightly deviated trachea in my X-Ray.

I got the same tests including a detailed X Ray done from my Famliy doctor last week but she didn't find anything unusual with my trachea, thyroids, etc. Not sure what the Immigration doctors are checking.
I had to pay an extra CAD 80 to the CIC panel doctor for the additional tests.
I hope i don't have to pay again for this 2nd test.

Don't understand why this is not covered in OHIP.

I don't mind the additional tests. But these requests come weeks/months apart and getting doctors appointments takes another week or two, then the doctor takes another week or two to submit to CIC.
Its 2 months now since my First Medical checkup already.
Was hoping to get PR before my WP expires in April, but now i am not that hopeful.

Make sure you eat normal a few days before a blood test, because sometimes bodies can have a reaction to something we usually do not eat and that can screw up your blood results and people may think it's something else or severe while it isn't.

Hi rohangk,
sorry if I ask but have you been doing the medical exams in Toronto on Pape avenue?
They are known to scam people to get more money as CIC exams are not covered. They just make things up and says that they have to repeat tests. A friend of mine had this happening, unfortunately for them she is a doctor and demanded to see the tests.
I suggest you go somewhere else, maybe that's what is happening to you.

Rohangk why dont you go to kitchner they are very professional and nice

I did the checkup in toronto. However the additional medical request came from cic, not the panel physician.
My colleague also did it from there, he didnt face any such issues

Kitchener is quite a drive from where i live. Also cic letter instructed to do the additional tests from the same panel physician as they have sent test details to them.

Well the blood test is only for vd, hiv, other stds or contagious diseases, So dont think it would matter what you eat. Offcourse i dont know what additional checkups might be needed for ppl with diabetes, thyroid, bp etc, i dont have those.
