I was as surprised as you are, as everyone kept saying that eligibility was passed once you got you MR. My criminality is also still in process and technically my medicals are passed (but still written as in process). So I don't know: medical in process while it is received according to Ecas and passed according to the physical copy of my application.

I am really confused, too.

I need help in filling out the questionnaire for BOWP.What to choose for this question. Yes or no? I am sep cec 2014 applicant

Does one of the following apply to you?
I am subject of a removal order that is unenforceable
I applied for a study or work permit before entering Canada which was approved, but not issued at a port of entry; or
I am a primary or secondary student with visitor status in Canada; or
I am a visiting or exchange student with visitor status in Canada; or
I am a student who has completed a program of study that is a prerequisite to my enrolment at a designated learning institution with visitor status in Canada; or
I applied for permanent residence to an office in-Canada and was determined to be eligible for permanent resident status (first stage approval).

Yes the last one applies to you. You received AOR, which is equivalent to a 'first stage approval'.

Don't worry, Fingerprints are sent to RCMP electronically. They may give you paper which shows your fingerprint , Reference number and mailing address of you and CPC-Ottawa.

I have a question for you. In your reference number, do they put UCI or file number?

They added File Number in the field for reference number.

Thank you!
Aug 5th, 2014 applicant. AOR Oct 23, 2014. Upfront meds Aug 2015, additional docs requested Aug 2015 (NOA and payslips). RPRF requested on Feb 10th, 2016. And ECAS changed yesterday to "Decision Made".

For payslips, did you email them all of your payslips for the period or just some of them?

I got an email asking for my T4s and pay stubs.

Hi a question for those with BOWP experience.

I got notification that my new BOWP was approved and in mycic a letter that says the following :
Your application to remain in Canada as a temporary resident has been approved. A secure document has
been mailed to you at the address that you provided when you made your application. If you have not received
your secure document within six weeks, contact CIC.

I applied inside Canada but now am outside of Canada and dont plan to go back for another 2 months. The address i gave is in Canada. Is the permit already active and was sent to my Canadian address or do i have to go to the Canadian border to get it and activate it?

Which place did u go??? And how much did u pay?
I did mine last year and if remember correctly I didn't get any copy either. They said they will send directly to RCMP. I called CIC after 2 weeks and they confirmed receiving the report.

I went to Ace Fingerprinting on 344 Bloor St W. He charged $60.

The permit is already active, CIC sends it to the address you gave them. I got mine in the mail 3-5 days after the confirmation email.

Hey LGCEC, another applicant is seeking your help. I saw he started a thread for you. Could you please look at it and help that applicant. Much Appreciated!
