I got the same email where they said send original passport and pcc and reply to this email with the documents. I was also confused as to how u can send oiginal through email and i asked them. I got a reply saying that they wanted scanned copies and just reply to the same email with the documents.

I do not know if it matters but according to my latest GCMS notes, all my security, criminality and eligibility assessments look like assigned to same VO, who is RC-6262. Is it normal? I mean all the processing should not rely on the judgment of single officer (hopefully).. Any idea?

they act randomly, like sending MR to October applicant before completing August and September, or July applications were processed way smoother than June or fake PPRF emails.. You name it..

I think it must be a generic code because I also have that one (RC-6262) in my GCMS notes. The other alternative is that RC-6262 is a single person and a very busy/slow VO. In that case we will have to wait longer than the others...

But I think it is the first option.

guys each file has different processing time and all the checks takes time, it depends on the places applicants lived at, also depends on how many are there in each application.

it could be a department code or one of CIC check codes, don't read too much into the notes

However, as you said it is some kind of system/pool user and any of my assesments were assigned to real human being yet..

RC stands for "Reporting Center" which is an identifier for a workgroup/office.

I dont think ecas says documents received. U can find that out if u request notes. Ecas just says documents were requested. And a week later i got medical request. So i assume they got my pcc and sent medical. Ill get notes ordered in 2 weeks to see updates

Np just make sure all attachments add up to less than 5mb. Or else they will reply saying reduce the size of the documents and send again. And they only accept a few formats. Like pdf jpg etc..
