They didn't got time in last 18 months to give us MR.
In that time frame 3 express entry candidates got PR, however
Now when they have started processing it seems like they are processing 5 application per day, except Monday and Tuesday,

why don't you go and work with CIC, that would be way more useful than most of your negative comments

In one of my calls to CIC call centre the agent has advised me not to raise GCMS as it would hold a lock on the file and GCMS notes collection process goes on and even the case officer wants to access the file also, he cannot due to the lock of GCMS process. I still do not have any confirmation on those words on any websites nor authenticity. Hence I am considering the case specific enquiry form.

I need your assistance in raising one , I am in canada so, what is the option which I need to select in TYPE OF APPLICATION dropdown as I do not see suitable option for CEC inside Canada.

Please assist.

The notes gives you details of the process, I don't see how it will effect the application, it gives you the status up to the date they process your a notes,

There are lot of assumptions regarding GCMS notes. IMO requesting notes do not make any difference in your processing time at all. GCMS notes are just the information regarding the status of your file and there is a different department in CIC which handles it. Whereas, CSE is a specific inquiry which you have made to the VO which is handling your case. So the VO is bound to give you a reply regarding your query, which can alter your processing time .
If you read EE forum, people request GCMS notes on a daily basis and their applications are finalized in the allocated time.

For those who are unsure whether to order GMCS notes because you're worried it may affect your processing times, here's a website that assures that it does not in any way affect it.

I've just called CIC from outside Canada. The agent told me that is a paper correspondence and he didn't tell me the content. "It's something that will complete the application"...what does it mean? he also said that we'll receive it between 2 and 6 weeks by regular mail. really????? :o Did it happen to someone else???

I am not sure what they have mailed you, I got al there correspondences by email. Wish I can help you with that.

can any one call on your behalf from inside Canada, and you can use their Canadian address, so u receive the letter faster and they can send you a scanned copy..

not sure what would be the best advice to give,

I got an email from CIC this morning (at 9.42 AM) with a subject line "Ready for VISA" and asking for passport. I'm wondering if anyone else got similar emails today. I just want to make sure this is not another mistake from CIC like they did last time (RPRF request for everyone) before sending my passport.

Thanks everyone for your wishes. Hope the rest of the process goes well and I wish the same for all of us.

I didn't receive any MR as I did upfront. Also, they didn't request for any PCC (may be because I didn't leave Canada since I submitted my application). I paid my RPRF fee on 18th Jan when they asked it by mistake.

Dear Friends,

August 25th applicant here. Just came back form my vacation and found medical request and a request for "Statutory Decalration of Severance orf common-law relationship in my mail box" dated January 29th

Can't believe it's actually moving again:)
