Hello guys

Just called my lawyer about this. He said he almost got RPRF request for all the applicants which are left from Old CEC. He said that the email is authentic and the request is authentic as well. But he asked me to wait until the end of this day and than pay the fee.

LOL,,, you got so excited and just paid it, it's a good thing.

i was going to pay as well but came here to check what's the status for other applicants, and i think i am going to call the call center and wait until tomorrow.

i am also going to wait, at least until tomorrow.

i think if i send an email later, out of this mass submission, i hope to receive some kind of confirmation. before that i am going to call the call center and if confirmed that the request is mass update, i am going to pay it today.

I have been a silent follower of the group ( I feel guilty for not providing updates thus far) since August 2014. My timeline is as follows
App received: 28th Aug 2014
AOR- Jan 8th
Upfront medicals completed (and updated in ECAS as received)
RPRF- just like everyone else- Jan 18th 2016

I just paid the RPRF as the email and the links provided looked genuine to me. The mass RPRF emails could just be an approach to reduce the man hours required to send out individual requests.

I was waiting for MR but I got RPRF requesting email today. is it usually MR comes after RPRF?

Any one among August 2014 applicants who did not receive either MR or RPRF as me? I see people from September/October 2014 have already received RPRFs without MRS? COuld someone comment ongoing trend?

I'm noticing that some of us are receiving RPRF Payment request today. So I called CIC to check that, they told me it could be a batch email that was sent out. Just reply back by attaching the proofs of receipt and you should be fine.

When I just hanged up that call, I got a call from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. He said he has some questions regarding the relationship and asked me series of ques like when I met my spouse, how long we knew each other, etc....Does anyone know how long it takes for them to make a decision after the call? I 'm waiting for PPR almost 9 months now.

Really? Did CIC call center guys confirmed that it was an error?

But for me it seems correct update because it was clearly mentioned in RPRF email that found application is eligible but Security and others are still in progress. 'This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose. '

Lets see how it goes...
