Cool, I'm assuming the attached document is the MR.

CIC has prioritized applications from those who selected French as their primary language of communication and those from Nepal (because of the earthquake) - these applicants are getting MR out of order. If that's not the case for you, then it's certainly a very positive news for the rest of us!

Hello everyone,

I called CIC agent to follow-up on my application received on August 12th 2014. He said the processing time for CEC before EE is 14 months from the date AOR is received. However, my application reached Ottawa centre in Jan 2015 and 14 months processing time will be considered from Jan 2015 in my case. He said usually, once AOR is received, the application is sent to Ottawa CPC. However, due to backlog of cases, the applications were sent to CPC-O quite after AOR was sent from Nova Scotia office which explains why many August applicants haven;t received MR or any further request. So in my case the agent said, I should receive decision latest by March 2016 (again based on workload at cic officers end).

12Aug 2014 to 14 months like 12 oct 2015 is your due date .

My MP was told by CIC that the 14 months is based on the time your file is transferred to Ottowa
So even tho mine was received 20 Jun 2014
They told me the 14 months was based from 29 August - 2 months later!!

So I 'should' really have heard by 29 Oct. so hoping I get news very soon!

yes you are right if you get any answer from cec by 29 oct 2015 plz inform here .

I honestly think they are not following any time lines. Some say its from the AOR date some say its the day they transferred the file somewhere else and ive also heard its 14 months from the date it says they started processing your application.. honestly none of it matters. regardless we have to wait for it so why is everyone panicking. just calm down. Im unemployed 15 months now living alone here and it doesn't get any worse than this. But complaining and cussing non stop doesn't make it okay or make them work faster. It just doesn't even feel good to be on this thread cuz its full of negative ppl. Please share your comments if you have anything positive and if you don't then stop panicking and sharing your negative thoughts and making everyones life difficult. You will get your MR when you do. If youre a religious person sit and pray it comes soon. If your not soo religious keep yourself busy with whatever it is you like to do and hope u get the PR.

The bottom line is everyones application is different and is not necessarily processed the same way or under the same timeline. if one person gets a MR request stop doubting it. if he did good for him. and hopefully well get it too.

Isnt it about time they update the application's processing times? The times reflect applications until end of June. They say that is updated quarterly and Its been been 4 months since then.

why there is only one MR for Aug.11 , anyone else heard news from friends or whatever ?

Hi Everyone,

Few week back they removed mailing address from ECAS and now removed home address.

verify and update us with similar case.

Mine still show the home address.

However earlier it used to show only the mailing address. But I believe after I requested a change of address they started showing the Home Address instead of the mailing address.

Also the form template changed. Earlier the Address and details used to be on the right hand side panel now it is on the left side.

P.S.- All these changes are months old, Nothing changed for a while now.
