i called Call Center just 5 minutes ago, below are the responses i got from the agent :

PR application - the note on my file says, no action can be taken before july 4th (she did not mention the year, even if it's this year i still have 6 more months to go). she also mentioned that the note says rprf was sent in error on monday and there is no need to pay it.

BOWP application (submitted in December 2015) - has not been touched yet. the link that she emailed me for rules is http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/bridging.asp . And she said eligibility is not passed (as file is under review) on my PR application.

:-[ i have no idea what to do now :(

Hey Pearl1

After reading your post I called my lawyer and he said that the application prior to EE are eligible for BOWP if they have AOR. So you don't need to worry, you will be fine.

Did you ask for the reason that why ur files has gone for review?, Apply for GCMs and know the reason first....

she did not mention anything about the review or second review.

she just said note says no action before 4th july. actually first she asked me to call end of january as that is when 17 months are completed.

then i specified the date and at that point she checked my file.

he assures me that I am 100% eligible for BOWP and they can't reject on this bases. There must be some other reason for the rejection.

I am a October applicant so I am way behind you but my lawyer said that he is positive that in next few months probably by march end I should have my MR.

Hi Pearl 1

BOWP u need to submit AOR with the BOWP Application, it takes 4 to 5 months to get renewed.

I applied for my BOWP the first week of September and received yesterday.

I got my first BOWP & SOWP on the basis of AOR in May 2015 (applied in Feb 2015). I have applied for another BOWP,SOWP this month as the current permits will end in April.
For pre 1st Jan 2015 PR CEC applicants AOR should be sufficient. So dont worry too much regarding BOWP :).

Yes, I received a one year BOWP.

if I understood his case
He applied for PR and sent BOWP Before receiving AOR. that's why his application was rejected.

BOWP is given to people who has an immigration application in process. AOR is the proof that there is an application in process. it is when your application in given a number after being assessed that the requirements are met.

the AOR is the eligibility check. CIC send you AOR to confirm that applicant has met the requirements and he is eligible to apply for PR.

Teb, when did you apply in September? And was it online or paper?
I am in the same position, still waiting. I applied in the first week. Now I have a job offer that I would love to take, but the employer is uncertain. My file obviously got touched, because I got 2 emails and once it said "updated" under the details section, then submitted again.

Everyone's story is different. We don't know this applicant's work history or background. so no idea why his got rejected.
The call center ppl just read out documents provided to them and don't seem to know any better.
So, best is to just wait rather than reading rejection posts and feeling negative.
