CEC - August 2014 application

Aug 15th applicant. Just called up the call center.

Man , I would have been better off if I didn't. They gave me a date to call back - call us after 4th of July if you don't hear from CIC till then.
Haven't ordered notes recently- is it I am on second review ??

Did medical and rprf fees payment upfront.

This is ridiculous.. were already at 17 months, July will be 23 months! There are people who applied under EE 6 months after us in January 2015 who got PR by June 2015 (6 months before us as of Jan 2016 and a year before us if were waiting until July)

Hi juju211221. If you don't mind me asking, did you or your husband leave Canada? I am curious because it looks like a few others have also been asked to provide PCC.

Is it new PCC request or second PCC request for spouse?

Hi all, we didn't leave Canada during this time ( only 2 weeks for vacations in europe / asia ). My Husband has 2 nationality ( french and swiss ) and when we send our application back in august 2014, we send only the french one. CIC is requesting the swiss one now. They gave us 60 days.

What a sigh of relief... Got MR about 45 minutes ago... I'm August 18 applicant, AOR 12th December....
Hopefully this time CIC didnt send this email by error... gud luck all August applicant...

I am in the similar timeline as yours Aug 20 app recevied and Dec 12 AOR. I should be receiving MR soon.

i know i think someone else also mistook the newbie for me.

i have done upfront, so no idea where my file is right now. but since timeline matches yours, i can at least hope that once you get the request, they might be working on my app too

over the past 2 months, I spoke with few CIC call center representative, they all said that the applications are not moving in the same speed, each one has different speed and cant compare


I have not done the medical upfront until it got requested in Dec, then they asked for the rprf same day dr. submitted my medical results.

I saw on another forum that an applicant got all there requests: medical, fee, and passport all after I made my payment.

no one can tell what are the steps CIC follows, we all need to wait. but at least we are seeing some progress which is good applications are not on hold any more.

I think there is no definite answer for this as for many things that CIC does.
I have seen cases waiting for sevelal months and others who get it in few days.
