So ? Are we suppose to pay the fee now? Or just wait? What a Joke

I've decided to pay as we have to pay anyways , today or later. But it's upto you. If u pay today, it will be considered as upfront RPRF.
So when the actual time comes when CIC has to request you RPRF, they wont.

Oh no.. But I don't get the apology email from them yet. I am 8th August Applicant.
And I got Medical request on June 2015. And I got the RPRF request in this morning. I think I should wait to pay it until tonight..
But I hope it wasn't error. I've been awaiting for long time since I got Medical request and done...

I didn't get the apology email yet.... has anybody know that.......is it required to pay RPRF fees for depended child under 19 or they exempted?

For Clear info check this : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/fees/imm/rprf.asp

Look under Fee Exemptions.

I got the email asking to pay Right of Permanent Residence Fee, I got excited called my parents in Canada and then paid the fee almost immediately. Then I got the email saying disregard as it was sent in error.. is this some kind of cruel joke?

Hey Mikee21,
I got caught in the exact same situation. Got super excited about it only to get the second email later in the day.
This makes me think they are looking at our applications and we will get some news pretty soon. Good luck mate

Agreed! I'd like to think maybe we are a bit closer now than we were weeks ago. Every bit of movement counts! Just a matter of time, stay positive everyone!

hi. I got rprf request like everbody else. I paid the fee and print the receipt but in receipt i cant find anything to write in it about my file or any other detail. can anybody suggest me what I have to do now. thanks in advance

Hi Patel,

I paid my RPRF upfront a month ago, and my receipt only showed my name (as written on my credit card). I scanned the receipt and sent it to the email, with all my information (UCI, AOR#, date and place of birth, category, etc).

I received a scanned copy of my file a week or two ago, and my receipt was in it.

You have to email it to the address listed on the email with you application number

Just got the second email with the apology:

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa.

Please disregard the previous request for payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee sent on January 18, 2016. That email was sent to you by error.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this might have caused.
