CEC - August 2014 application

Hi everyone,
I have been a silent follower of the group ( I feel guilty for not providing updates thus far) since August 2014. My timeline is as follows
App received: 28th Aug 2014
AOR- Jan 8th
Upfront medicals completed (and updated in ECAS as received)
RPRF- just like everyone else- Jan 18th 2016

I just paid the RPRF as the email and the links provided looked genuine to me. The mass RPRF emails could just be an approach to reduce the man hours required to send out individual requests.

My app was received on Aug 25th, 2014 and AOR on Dec 18th, 2014.
I didn't receive medical request yet and I saw you have done the upfront medical.
Are we allowed to do the upfront medical? Does CIC accept that?

Everybody received on same time stamp 11.38AM. and one by one receiving Apalogy emails now. ..

Yes, CIC does accept upfront medicals as shown by the fact that they updated on my ECAS.

Sorry... Agree it is your wish but it wont count more if you get multiple same responses on different threads. And people confuse and stop replying to you because of multiple requests.. You will be missed when you really expecting urgent help from people.

I'm applicant Aug.11.2014, Aor-Nov.5.2014.
I also got emails today for request for payment RPRF(11:05am) and request for RPRF disregard(2:26pm). I didn't pay yet.
I'm still waiting MR.
Even though I got email for disregard, can I pay for RPRF upfront? Or Just wait until I get email for the MR?

I received an apology letter from cic asking me to disregard the 1st email this morning asking me to pay RPRF fee , its was sent in error that's their reason

I got the apology email and I had never paid the fee prior. So disheartening.

Did you already pay by the time you got the apology email? I am yet to receive the apology email. I guess the second email is only going out to those that received the initial email this morning but haven't paid yet?

I did the upfront medical in the third week of December and uploaded the scanned documents in the first week of Jan. The ECAS was updated in a week. I am sorry, but I don't remember the exact dates.

I just, literally 3 min ago, finished the conversation with CIC agent re this strange email of RPRF payment request. She verified that the Ottawa Office made a mistake this morning to send this email to massive amount of people including old files that are already closed or files they have not seen yet. It was somebody's error on CIC's end at 11am.

So ? Are we suppose to pay the fee now? Or just wait? What a Joke

I had already paid, and I got the apology email. No idea if I will be refunded. Likely not as I would have had to pay it at some point.
