I received my MR last Friday but this week I got a request for FBI background check from USA since I am in USA now. I have submitted the FBI clearance when I submitted the application but it seems that it has expired. I checked the FBI site and it takes at least 13 weeks to get the clearance document. CIC has requested to submit it within 3 months time and I think by the time I receive the document it will be too late. What should I do now?

order them right away ..send cic your reciept for fbi clearence also take print out of the page that says current proccessing time and explain it will take more time than alloted

send then a mail confirming that you have received there request. and that you have already requested the USA PCC.

Also explain that it takes 13 months as per the website, I also suggest mentioned the website link and a screen shot.

they give deadlines to make sure the applications are completed on time.

usually they give 30 days, they gave you 3 months because they know that your request takes longer.

The email I got from CIC said : send the requested documents by email, hence I sent by email. Also, BLS is not confusing, go there take all the documents and ask them for PCC, if they object, max they will ask you to get permission from Indian Consulate, someone on this blog has posted details about that. If u want to ask ur parents from India, then every state has a different process, i am from Punjab so my mother had to go to local SP's office and fill a form with 4 photos of mine and copy of my indian drivers license / any id that have the same address as ur home in india.

Hi there, did you have to re-submit your PCC for India? I mean, if you had already submitted the PCC with your application and you are currently residing in Canada, did CIC still ask you to re-submit a new PCC for India?

I sent documents to add my spouse to the application to CIC by courier on Jan 13, today I got a GCMS notes dated Jan 21. I don't see that documents are added to the application in Notes section. Does anyone know where I can see that documents are received and added to the application in GCMS?

Does anyone one know, during fingerprint for RCMP what do fingerprint agency write in reference number on fingerprint document? UCI or File number?

I had second RCMP finger print done and this time I had done fingerprint done in London, Ontario. And they put my file number. When first time I had it done in Toronto than fingerprint agency put Client ID number. Is this something to be concerned or not?

I got email today to submit RCMP again as i have submitted along with my application and they have mentioned 60 days time than 30 day usual .

My questions are: why they are asking again RCMP?
is still Medical request can come before i submit my new RCMP.
I have RCMP report recently did in dec 1st 2015, will that work or i need to get the new one again?
is it positive sign instead of MR, i got RCMP?

Just do what they have asked it's not a freaking rocket science.

I have been told to do RCMP fingerprint again. I also had done before.

It's up to you whether u want to tell them that u already had done. May be Immigration didn't receive it. Best idea is have it done and send to Ottawa.

It is a positive sign, at least they open the file and start processing it.

I did exactly what I told you, gave them what they wanted, I did not have to reinvent the wheel.
I chose the relevant tasks I do i did not even paraphrase them. and added few of my duties not listed.

As you see it worked for me.

Hi teb , It might have worked out for you, but I've known people being asked to send experience letters with duties that are not copy-paste from the NOC Code website. My lawyer always told me to paraphrase duties and not state exactly as on the website. You're lucky buddy ! But I would suggest everyone to paraphrase whats online and then send.

Yes, I submitted one with application, Im residing in Canada since however I went to india once after I submitted the application, so they requested a new one and I sent it. And yes it alll depends in the email from CIC, if they request something by email then we can scan and send unless they ask us to send documents by post.
