Hi guys. I second that. Dr. Garret in Kitchener is amazing. Super friendly and efficient. All facilities are in walking distance to his office (all within the same building). I got my upfront medicals done here. Hope this helps.

Some people commented on the September thread that they can log-in to ecas with the receipt number from their RPRF. I just tried my receipt number and was able to log in using it :) there is no line added to ecas but it means the payment was linked to your file.

It does work! ;)

I did my upfront medicals here:
City: Scarborough
Name: Dharmavathy Jegatheeswaran
Address: Medical Practive Dr Jegatheeswaran's Office,
3852 Finch Ave,

X-ray and blood work is in the same unit, everything was done pretty fast. $190 all including. I did it on 12th Jan and on 22 Jan my E-cas got updated. I would recommend this place. I was planning to go to Kitchener too but I saved 200km drive.

Thanks

Hi all,
I got another email from CIC after the MR yesterday.
They require a divorce certificate or court papers to prove my separation from my ex. I don't have these papers because I haven't filed for divorce yet, I selected 'legally separated' as my status in the application, so why would they ask for divorce papers?

Does anyone know of a some kind of legal document I can provide CIC to prove my separation? My ex and I have been living in different countries for 3 years.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It is because you selected "legally separated" that means that it has been recorded in the Court of Law that you are separated / divorced. If you are only living in different countries that is separation by choice not a "legal" one. Hence they've asked for the proof of legal separation. Best shot would be to inform /email cic that you made a mistake and are not legally separated. Consult an immigration consultant if you can.

Hi chiragpatel_67

Did you get medical or do you want to go for upfront?

Thanks

Here is the link to his website: http://www.imemed.ca/IMEmed/Book_an_Appointment.html

I just noticed that Dr. Daniel Garrett is not listed on the website (probably retired).

The following are two doctors listed FYI:

Dr. Scott Morlock, Dr. Erin Hoh & Dr. Maria Casale
