Yeah she's here in Canada with me and they have asked her to go and give her Medicals again failing Which they will not process further

When did you completed your own medical exam?? You hv mentioned u did it upfront

I contacted my local MP again and this is her reply:

"
It is with no great surprise that you’re telling me that you haven’t heard from CIC.

As you are not my only file stuck in the pre-express entry back log, I can tell you my last conversation with CIC about it was last week and that nothing new was being done with those files.
Since CIC will most likely wait until a new directive is being issued, I would not expect any change until the directive is known.

I understand this is utterly frustrating. I could still inquire about your specific file but I expect the same non-answer.
Please note also that due to a higher volume of calls from MP’s offices than usual, CIC queue for calling us back is now over one week long and we are limited to 7 files per call. In your case, your file would be my 12th. I understand that these delays are also very upsetting.

Let me know if you would like an update anyways, or if you would prefer contacting me in a month to inquire about a more general update for your category (directive issued or not).

Guys lets not bother about how EE is going that is only going to put our hopes down! The 15 months processing time for EE is a bug on the site apparently and will be fixed tomorrow I guess.

Can't believe they are doing this especially after the RPRF gate. Clearly they lack basic process and good leadership. All they have to do is:

1. Step back for a while and assess what mistakes they are making
2. Reduce the number of EE intakes and leverage the resources for old CEC
3. Develop a strategy to clear the back log
4. Work maximum on the back log alongside limited EE
5. Resume normalcy once the back log is cleared

Ya no problem. But a bit confused by her saying they are doing nothing as we can see they are definitely sending out medical requests to August applicants right now. It feels good to know even the MPs know what a disaster cic is

If you don't mind me asking, when did you apply? It would be helpful to know the time lines of these files that are in limbo- are they from September and beyond? Will they be processed after the June/July/Aug ones are cleared? If this forum is any guide, June/July applicants have been getting decisions recently and August applicants have been getting MR.

Thanks. Based on this forum, late August applicants (~20-21 August) have been getting MR. Hopefully you will get yours soon. Just one other thing worth highlighting: If you look at the time difference between when the application is filed and when they started processing it was ~1month for pre July applicants but progressively increases afterwards suggesting an increase in applicants per month. If so slower processing for August and beyond is expected.

Guys, I sent PCC for my wife yesterday and it reached CIC on 21st. When should I send CIC an email asking to acknowledge that documents are received. How long does it takes to update that on to their systems?

Express Entry time frame is fixed from 15 months to 6 months.. It was a bug in the CIC system..
