CEC Applications who were cashed but returned before being issue AOR

i am setting up this thread for those people. I am completely at a loss now what to do as my application was cashed on December 31sT but one poster was informed his application will be returned even though they were cashed.

Dont know what to do

do you think u will apply under EE ? My application was received October 10th

I was actually wondering if I should try EE. My application was received on October 14th and my CC charged on December 31st... My work permit expires in March, so I also wondered if I should try now to apply for an OBWP with a letter explaining that I am still waiting for AOR (and I really hope I'll get it soon... :/ )

Mine was received on 2nd Oct, If I havn't got the AOR by mid Feb I will file EE.

Another CEC Applicant called the CIC call centre an hour ago - the operator he spoke with told him that applications after Oct 20th would be getting returned due to cap being reached, and apparently they had receieved an internal communication stating this over the last 24 hours (he asked if it was online and was given the impression it would be shortly if not already). Basically what he was told sounded a lot like the cap reached message that was online and then taken down a month or two back.

Unless you're an October last week applicant, its too early to worry.
Anyways doesnt hurt to create an EE profile!

but they charged anyway...

Could you let us know your NOC code. I am just trying to understand if its the overall cap or the sub-cap that is exhausted.

Anyway, i am in Canada, my work permit will expire in 3 year...

I have a positive LMO and already in for EE.. If LMO is accepted as long as LMIA I am in anyway... but it's always good have two cards to play...

You are ok - you should get AOR towards mid February

what's mean OCt 20th ? send in Oct 20 , cashed in Oct 20 ? received in Oct 20 ? or AOR in Oct 20 .

yixiaop26 - I was the person who called in earlier. Believe it was application received 20th October.

It wouldnt be the first time an operator there has got something wrong, so if anyone else calls and can confirm the same msg I received that would appear to indicate the legitimacy of the info
