I am biometric exempted (gave during work permit application), added RCMP certificate during application submission (my rep recommended to have it done even if not asked by IRCC) and was told by IRCC on 2/5 that criminality is passed.

Yah i think if you are biometrics exempted they ask about rcmp..at least that's the pattern observed

Not always the case. I was not biometrics exempted and was still asked to submit RCMP criminal record check.

you should calling mid next week and check. The trend for September is to move towards Recommended Pass. At least we see some uniformity, so do cheer up. Unlike earlier where things were extremely random. There will be outliers still as in the example you responded to but that is only to indicate that processing has started and not to annoy people.

I agree with this point. I think we are all in same page with Recommended pass and its same for majority of Sep AOR's whose VO is Ottawa. It seems some one who got COPR from Sep is from different VO.

Me either. I did my biometrics on December 23, 2020 and on 22nd Feb, a request for RCMP. My request letter says "In order to make the decision.." so I am really nervous. I took a wrong criminal record check (name based search) supposed to be a certified one (with fingerprint to be done), so I have to wait for another 10days to receive and upload it on my account. AOR 2nd Sep.

I just got ghost update. It is not the glitch for sure because I have noticed my Background check changed to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." from "We are processing your background check. We will send you message if we need more information."

Not sure why the background check went backwards?

Any suggestions on this GU?
