Did recent approvals get asked for RCMP check at some point? Just wondering if upfront RCMP check for inland is recommended.

Can you do an upfront RCMP without the request?

Never had any GU. Background check status never changed, has always been "We are processing your background check".
2 months and 6 days, I would say not bad. Wish you all good luck

Congratulations!! same timeline, however, my background check has not started yet. So sad.

Biometrics: updated on 6th July(didnt get a request for Bio as they are using the one I had given before moving to canada)

Last GU was received on 13th July
Background check changed from "in process" to "in progress".

just checking if anybody would know the timeframe? I understand everyone has different processing time but in this post have noticed some people getting update faster than me so my curious mind wanted me to ask lol
