Does anyone know how long does MP take to respond?
Please help

MPs are very busy, they receive lots of requests on top of immigration ones. I sent my information via email, he called me after 1 week, while I was on the phone with him, he contacted immigration on my behalf. He said that now due to Covid-19, the immigration officer will get back to him within 7-10 days.

DM10032 is one of the slowest officer. My application is also with this one. No update since OCT 20 after my BIO exempt. Wondering whether he/she works or simply killing time and causing pain in our life.

My timeline is the same as yours.

I called my MP again today.
She confirmed that they sent my inquiry last Friday and waiting for cic response.

I received the response 2 days later , I emailed on Wednesday afternoon and received their response Friday morning but in the email on the Wednesday they told me it can take upto 10 business days.

May be it’s just my bad luck everywhere now.
11 months of waiting
Closed Work permit
Underpaid job
Now, no response from cic

They can actually check the status of your file on behalf of you.
Cic have to get back to them within very short period of time.
It just gives you more detail and if you are lucky, their inquiry might trigger your file progress.

Yes I called them last Friday. They asked me to email my details and then I visited office today morning and they said only call due to Covid and she also confirmed that they sent my inquiry last Friday and should get the response by today.

Hi everyone,

I just got an email from cic. Checked my account and it has been approved.

Aor: may 8
Biometrics: oct23
First gu: sometime late January didn’t bother to find out why.
Second gu: about 2 weeks ago, I called and I was told it was good and final decision pending.
I don’t know my VO.
