Keep trying every 10 min. I do that. 1/5 times I reach out to agent after a brief wait of 30Min.

Follw these key prompts 1 - 1 - 2 then enter your application number and year of birth. After they read your application status. Press 0 to connect to a live agent. Sometimes they will tell you that they can't connect you to someone because of large volume of calls.
I also came in as a student. So the biometrics was part of my student visa back in 2016.
I came as a student as well.
I just fixed out the rules without consideration. Recent update by my follow, the result is expected in next month around 9th. If not, don't fight me .

Aor :April 24, 2020
Biometric: Oct 20, 2020
Estimated completion time was Oct 24th.
Shows "Your application is taking us longer than usual to process."

That sounds encouraging. I am so tired of waiting. All we can do now is to be hopeful

Not yet, but the call agent said its completed on their own end. I called twice and two different agents said the same thing
This is getting more crazy as online account is not upto date, yet some agents are saying whatever is shown in the account is what it is!
My personal opinion: they will start issuing another round of COPR once the parents and grandparents program deadline is complete after 3rd Nov.
