After receiving my CoPR, I got another email from IRCC PR confirmation portal to send exactly same information as asked by Etobicoke office earlier like entry date etc.
It is funny as IRCC is still waiting to finalise my application for permanent residency, when I already have my CoPR with me.
Anyways I sent the information again on this IRCC email and let's see what happens next.
Anybody experience this?

Success!

We got our CoPR on 12.May.2020

There is a slight hitch though - they put my son's passport number on my CoPR and misseplled the place of birth too. Sent an email back to them with remarks to correct it.

Regardless, the sense of permanency has set in. Thank you Canada!

Wishing everyone the best of luck. Hang in there!

wow man!I
In my case they are just holding my spouse's criminality, I am also not sure why so much delay in our applications.
CEC usually is straight forward and all of my friends who have previously applied got their CoPRs within 3-4 months.
I call every week to get an update but in vain.
IRCC is not paying any attention to backlogs it seems; instead making new draws every now and then.
I wish to get PR before end of this year but now I don't see it.
I don't know what to say.
How did you check that they are holding your spouses criminality?

I have Fev 2020 Aor and still waiting for criminality in process.

Does anybody have actual evidence that this really occurs? I.e. not an ancedote that one Joe Schmoe or another applied in May 2020 and was approved in December, I mean some statistics showing that people who applied in February are experiencing much longer waiting times?

Like probably most of you I'm stuck in the background check. My AOR is Feb. 14 (2020 of course ) In-land.
I am Feb 2020 AOR still waiting

haha, here's the never ending story with my erroneous CoPR:

CIC put my son's passport number in my CoPR and when requested them to correct it, apparently there is a whole other process to 'correct clerical mistakes made by CIC agents' Fill out a form, send copies of CoPR, passport, attach birth certificates and driving license. All for a mistake THEY made :D

It's been quite some time since I first summited my newborn details and in the past few months they asked me to resubmit the same details twice. Every time I submit they confirm the submission and say that these details are send to the IRCC agent but after a month or so they don't have the details on the file. I'm not sure how long this will continue.

Anybody still waiting for CoPR?
I am. Got the email about the Permanent Resident Confirmation portal process a week ago, responded with my details immediately but have heard nothing since. I talked to someone at IRCC who said that there were about 1600 applicants in February '20 and 250 were still "on inventory" on March 31, so we are the unlucky 15% or so to be the last.

Congratulations on receiving an email from IRCC, I haven't received any email from IRCC about my PR confirmation, I still feel that I am miles away from the point you are in.

Here is the timeline for my 526-day ordeal. Today I received the eCOPR and I start my wait for the PR card (current wait time is 132 days). I am a single inland applicant with CRS score of 517 and a high paying job (the job didn't count toward the score, but the contract was in the supplementary material for the application). I thought my application was straight forward and would be approved quickly...

Entries in italic are things I know from inspecting the GCMS records, and haven't received any email or profile updates on. In particular, on March 19 I passed criminality and eligibility, but that has never been updated on my profile, both these showed "pending" until today.

2020-01-01 Express Entry application
2020-01-08 Invitation to apply
2020-02-14 CEC application submitted; acknowledgement of receipt

2020-03-02 Paper file transfer from Central Intake Office to Edmonton
2020-03-17 Biometrics appointment [CANCELLED]
2020-05-21 Paper file transfer from Edmonton to Ottawa

2020-10-02 Special program: PRBIO (updated)
2020-10-15 Biometrics passed [based on previous work permit]
2021-03-19 Two ghost updates

Thanks for event log, that's really helpful . This shows how difficult it can be for someone who is waiting for PR without any clue on the end date. My Score is 488 with AOR on February 9, 2020, and I work as a design engineer in aerospace industry, and hold a work permit under global talent stream. At the time when I made the decision to come to Canada I had a permanent job offer and work permit from Germany. Now, after working here in Canada for many years, I can't believe this is happening. There is no definitive end date for applications missing the estimated completion date. Just imagine, If someone doesn't like a timeline on a job assigned to them, all they have to do is to just miss it once and wow, no more end dates.

I have been calling IRCC client support center every week for the past many months, all they say is that my criminality is still in progress, I have submitted them the police certificates they asked for and I can only guess that there is no one following up on my file.
