Only my medicals were extended. My wife and two kids were told that their medicals expired and we had to go back and do it all over again at our cost ($705). Do what I did when it comes to IRCC - HOPE that your WP lawyer is nice enough to forward the notification to you when it comes to them.

Medical was complete all this while. There were no issues. Now they sent a letter saying medical has expired. Good luck to us trying to get a medical exam scheduled during this lockdown.

Never left the country since Feb.2020. Medical was done in late Feb.2020.

IRCC contacted us (via the lawyer) today - more than one year and two months since our inland application was submitted. The whole family has to go for medical within 30 days. They also want our travel history AGAIN. This is ridiculous. How is it our fault that IRCC delayed our application...

Is it true that others who applied outside the Jan-Apr.2020 timeframe have received their approvals already?

Just curious if anyone from Feb.2020 got approved? We're well over a year now and I have no news at all on what's going on with my application (inland).

Inland CEC applicant here (senior management role) with Feb AOR, still no PR. Its already mid-March.2021. IRCC really took a beating with COVID, I hope they're all okay.

My AOR is Feb 13.2020. Nothing so far for me :D

When you get to the status of your PR, listen to the entire message. At the end of the message, you can hit 0 to speak to an IRCC representative. However, I don't think they know more than what is already on the computer in front of them. I spoke to them once and that was the last time.

True. There is no point venting either. My company is already applying for the third work permit. It is a tedious and expensive process but there is nothing anyone can do. We were keen on the PR only because we wanted to buy a house here. Now with the crazy prices in GTA, we're moving out...
