My application is still in the same status. It hasn't changed. I only got an update that they don't need additional documents. How do you know about which location has your file?

I’m not sure about that. Maybe call ircc. I had also seen another thread here which was about file location. However I’m guessing my file is being processed in Ottawa.

my VO office is is also Ottawa, BIL 19 FEB so when can i expect Ghost Update as when i contacted CIC they said nothing has started yet (no criminality eligibility background check started)

Unfortunately, I do not work for IRCC so I do not know. You shouldn't except a GU, some people do not even get them or miss them completely. Stay patient
