How long will it take to get the RCMP letter ?

I have no idea. Did CIC request for an RCMP criminal record check? I wasn't asked to provide one when I submitted my application.

Hi everyone, CRS-490, Applied on Dec 2, Medical Passed ec18th, I have not received the biometrics letter yet, not sure if I need to do biometrics as I am an inland CEC. Also, there have been no updates on my profile after Dec 18th. Can somebody please help? Thanks!

It's not necessary everyone to get Biometrics request. If you have given in the past say for study permit, you won't get a request.

I don’t remember giving biometrics ever, even for study permit or work permit. I am not sure why I didnt get the request

which country your filed your study permit application from?

India, in 2016. Then I got my WP in 2018 but even then I didnt have to give my finger prints.

That's odd. I did my study permit application in 2014 at vfs. They took my fingerprint and picture while submitting documents.

Hi, I think they started requiring biometrics for EE inland applicants who submitted their applications on Dec 3 and onwards.
