That's my understanding, I think it might roll out to other paths later. But right now it's only being implemented for families.
The page also reads "currently only for people sponsoring or being sponsored as a spouse, partner, or dependent child" meaning that it'll be expanded in the future. If this happens, I would hope it better be more informative and transparent than the current GcKey based account :)

Once you get an AoR, most of your stuff is locked. Leaving the extreme things like loss of job or death or divorce.

I Feel you a lot.

AOR AUG 17 - Oct 4 was the last update after that no update after. I loss hope on this. I just extended my OWP and that is what im looking forward for.

Same here. I wanna go home but not allowed due to the Covid. I am not able to have any future plans due to the endless waiting. By the way, I suppose you have got portal already.

Same boat. Can we renew our health card based on the letter they gave when we apply for BOWP?
Totally depends upon province... I know in BC it is not possible... I have health card valid till nov so I guess I should be able to get BOWP atleast.

I am in BC, you mean if we have BOWP we can't get an extension as well with our health card? That sucks!

No No No No... If you are on BOWP, you CAN get MSP. THATS a-okay!

What I meant was that if you are on Implied or Maintained status, you cann't get MSP for that period of time and possibly you may have issue of waiting 3 more months.

It’s for the family class sponsorship at the moment.
Yea. Look like they are working to role it for other applications as well.

For the initial launch, the tracker will be available for permanent residence applicants in the spouse, partner and dependent child categories. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is working on providing similar solutions to additional applicant groups as we continue to improve and introduce new tools to support our clients.
