Did she get back her application fee when she was rejected? It's not the applicant's fault. She can just apply again, can't she? I hope she got the application fee back so she can apply again.
Have not checked on this yet. She is too upset at the moment. She is considering sending a Case Specific Enquiry to see if they will re-open her case. I told her I doubt it will accomplish anything.me2016 said:Did she get back her application fee when she was rejected? It's not the applicant's fault. She can just apply again, can't she? How far short of the 12 months were you on the date you received the ITA? If it was less than 1 month then I would wait and see what happens as you may get a lenient processing officer. If at the time you received the ITA, you had more than 1 month to go to reach the 12 months, then I think you may get rejected even though at the date of the submission you may have satisfied the '365 working days' criteria.me2016 said:If the application has been submitted, what should we do? Withdraw the application and wait for another ITA once the 12 months of work is completed? Or wait and hope that it will not get rejected? I applied for FSW so I don't think my application will get processed as fast as your friend's.
I hope am not dragging the clock backwards here, but my understanding of this situation is that the ITA came after they gave you the points for your Canadian work, right? The system automatically calculated your scores based on the dates you provided and the work hours also and awarded points when it was judged to be 1560. If you got the ITA after that point, I think you will be fine. But if you got the ITA before that point, there may be issues. That is my understanding, I may be wrong.naaas said:I've submitted my EE profile in August as FSW and got 446 points, meanwhile I was still working in Canada, and mentioned my Canadian work experience in EE profile. So when my "working hours" reached 1560 they gave me extra points, my profile went up to 499 and i received ATI. Even though I only worked there 11 months at that point. What I'm saying is that on one hand I'm kinda worried that my PR application will get refused if they take my CEC points away, on the other hand though, they added points for hours, not months. Hope that was helpful.

I don't know about FSW, but for CEC you can use only a max of 30 hours / week. The extra hours do not add up.nagarjun rao said:Here is my situation where I am a little confused. I started working full time with atleast 40 hours a week starting 6th April, 2014 in Alberta,Canada. As of now, beacuse I have completed working more than 250 overtime hours(more than 44 hours per week) I will most likely to complete 1560 hours by 1st week of April, 2016. Now that I have to go to my home country to attend my cousins marriage for a month from mid of March to mid of April, Am I supposed to work for another extra month to be eligible under EE?
Or otherwise will it will be case specific and left out to the discretion of VO?
You must have met all requirements by the time you received ITA.ImmiToCanada said:You have 2 months to submit your application after receiving ITA. So if you have 11 months upon ITA, this should be fine since you can wait for 1 month to get 12 months and then submit your application.
If you started working in 2014, they you should have completed your 1 year of experience.nagarjun rao said:Here is my situation where I am a little confused. I got everything ready way ahead of time that's why after ITA, I was able to submit right away. All the dates in my application are correct. I even selected no work experience because I haven't reached 1 year yet.
Is there hope since I applied for FSW? Has anyone gotten through or gotten rejected?
Since you have submitted now, I would say wait and see because you might get a lenient processing officer. On another forum I raised the similar issue because a friend of mine got the ITA (CEC program) on 'Day 363' of work in Canada and even though by the time she submitted she had gone past 365 days she got rejected yesterday on the basis that she claimed the ITA despite not having worked for 1 year in Canada.
Will withdrawing the application have a negative impact on your future applications?
I don't think so. All that would happen is that you would have to create another EE application and you would have to go into the Pool again.
Did you have 12 months (52 weeks * 30hrs) at the time of either:naaas said:not sure if that would be the right thread to ask, but do you guys think there is point of sending CSE with new canadian employment? i was just thinking in case officer would consider my 11 months(but enough hours) as not enough, there would be another 4 months of full time work in canada?
