All you listed are part of Express Entry. Category based draws are part of EE draws so you must be eligible for FSW, CEC or FST.Are category-based draws part of economic programs like the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Federal Skilled Trades (FST) or are they solely used to assess Express Entry eligibility?

- meet the minimum criteria for Express Entry, including being eligible for 1 of the 3 immigration programs it covers and
- meet all of the requirements in the instructions for that round
Great. I wanted it to be completely different program. But, lot of sources suggests that category based draws are just a layer under those 3 program. It is not clear about the stream. I assume to be invited separately as a category qualified candidate. Then are they using other 3 programs to only check my Express Entry eligibility. And, not fill immigration levels quota. As, we do not have any seprate quota for category based draw in immigration levels plan. I hope I am making sense. Thanks for the reply!
