I saw a 'Completed' update on a Friday, certificate mailed on Monday, received on Wednesday. So I'm guessing it is closed only after printing.

In some areas, third parties deliver mails on behalf of Canada Post. Some of those do deliver mails on Saturdays.

Winnipeg. I have no website to prove it, but I saw the mailman on Saturday in my building lobby and I don't think he was there for any other reason

I work away from home in BC, I just got home, I posted at 11 minutes past midnight, the certificate arrived on Friday, sorry, I was 11 minutes into Sunday morning When I posted.
so just to clarify, it arrived on Friday, I mistakenly thought it was still Saturday, but it was Sunday morning when I posted.
