My sisters timeline Couple with 2 dependants from India.
Application received Jan 8, 2021
Office Edm
May 2022 1st Temp no
Nov 2022 Permanent no
Feb 6 Bio, Med & PCC request ,
Med and Bio complete on Mar 2 , Passed
Med request again for all the family today Nov 29, 2023 , Dec Passed
March 26 Eligibility letter received for all the members.
April 8 Passport Request
April 27 Received stamped passport.
April 8 applied TRV for both kids to accompany her to Canada (dint apply at the time of application). Still in process no update.
We connect with our MLA office in Feb and March and send requests to connect with IRCC. I think that helped to speed up.

We are also in the same boat.. My sister passed her Medicals in August 2023 and in Nov they requested additional PC for her husband , we sent and since then no updates..
I have also requested our area MP to look into this, so hoping to get some updates soon..

Nothing even through MP as IRCC just sent same updates to MP office whatever they always gives us 'Background' and 'Eligibility' in progress. So nothing new..
And MP Office said there is no way that they can request for speeding up the process, so nothing just wait.....
I am so frustrated don't know what to do?

Have you tried to request for cbsa notes. I am in the same situation as you. My eligibility is recommended passed and my background check is in process. From my cbsa notes I learnt that I am in security screening and it started on the 28th of Feb. Security screening can take sometime....between 3 to 12 months. Hopefully it's sooner. If you haven't ordered the notes, please do. It does give a view of what's happening to your application. And it's totally free.

BTW, I am a February 2021 applicant....so yea, a long wait.

Yes we did requested GCMS notes and it also says Recommended ;Passed..
Eligibility and background checks in progress but how long it will take that's not clear.
It so pathetic..

When did your security start. I am assuming your criminality and info sharing are completed. The security screening start date information is contained in your CBSA notes. With security screening all that is required is good old patience, unfortunately.

Criminality and Medicals are passed, they says Eligibility and Background checks in progress..
SO wait for Officer, but that wait is never ending..

I want to share status of my immigration application, which was submitted on January 9, 2022. Since then, I have received the Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) on July 22, 2022, and completed biometric collection on July 27, 2022, followed by a medical examination on August 16, 2023. As my application originates from Pakistan, I understand that the processing times may vary. On January 9, 2024, I received an Additional Document Request (ADR) regarding government job details.
I am particularly interested in understanding the timeline for receiving the eligibility letter alongwith assessment of my employer's eligibility regarding employment-related verification processes. Since, Additional Document Request (ADR), submission no updates.
