hi im new here at this site..
we need some answer to our question pls dont ignore it thank you..
i have a friend that her employer they released her last june and her paper for open permit and PR is on process...our question is, if she cant find anothr employer within a months, a years is that ok for her? or they going to send back her home ? can she apply for Employment INsurance as well while shes waiting?

not quite sure i understand what you mean? where is she in her process of PR?
has she completed the 24 months or 3900 hours?

she send the application by may 16
they received it may 17
started process by july 18
and her employer they released or she got laid off by june
on that time and until now she is waiting for her open permit
the QUESTION is:
if she cant find a employer within a months or a year, are they going to send her back to the philippines????
and if its not.....is she allowed to apply for EI for the mean time ???coz its to hard to find employer now a days
