778 applications received so far.
My application for 2174 reached on 3-Oct-2014, now looking at this thread about capped categories I m thinking if I can send application for 2171 or 2173 now, any suggestions?

These numbers are as of mid-June.

It is not the number of applications send but applications accepted.

CIC has gone as far as mid June. The numbers you see on the web site are as of mid June. No one can give you an exact date.

Dude, you wont make it in the CAP.....

as of 30th September update (CIC processing date that time was 10th June).... so 778 for 2174 is till mid june applicants .... I suggest you quickly make another application for 2171/2173 ..... and send it asap ... !!

Charging:

Currently we are having 18 June Charges

Current CAP Status:

CIC indicates that they have received a total of 4598 Applications.

Processing:

We have NDVO, London VO, HongKong, Paris, Singapore, Accra, Bucharest and Warsaw File Transfers and Processing.

Medical:

CPC-Ottowa obviously as well as London,Accra, Bucharest, Hong Kong, Bucharest, Manila, and NDVO

Passport Request:

Several Requests at CPC-Ottowa and 1 at Manila

Visa Issued:

Mexico VO, CPC-Ottawa

HI,

I am applying for NOC 2281 and plan to send my application by November 7,2014. Will it be too late?? Also my title for the 1 year full-time experience that I am claiming for the company I worked with is "Network and Computer Systems Administrator" but I also performed majority of the duties mentioned in NOC 2172 which is the NOC for Database Administrator role. So can I send my application for both NOC 2281 and 2172? I can get a verification letter from my company which will shwo that I performed all the duties mentioned in NOC 2281 and NOC 2172 and I will also include these duties in my Resume as well. But my only concern is that since my Job title was "Network and Computer Systems Administrator", will CIC reject my application saying that my job title only matches that for NOC 2281 and not NOC 2172? Just want to confirm if CIC will go by the job title ONLY OR Will they also consider that since I did job duties of both NOC 2281 and NOC 2172, I can clain both NOCs? I would HIGHLY appreciate any responses!! Thanks ahead of time!

You can claim two NOCs provided your reference can match both NOCs.
