sorry to say but you are too late on 2171

chances are very very less .01 % and that to if some miracle happens.

you can try for other IT NOC codes like 2281, 2172 etc

you only have to match 60-70% of your responsibilities.

Thats ok.. I'll give it a try. I cannot convert my experience into other NOCs as I dont think it will match anywhere atleast 40%
My duties match 70% with 2171. I have a strong feeling that I'll make it (Nothing to lose if I dont)

With the update from David Cohen newsletter on the Dec.2014 closing of the FSW,
I sincerely believe in him for the following reasons.
1.Most backlogs of FSWs must be cleared for preparation for the EE.
2.To achieve the objective of processing of EE within 2-3months per
applicants,so all pending files must be cleared.
Let's open this for discussion.

778 applications received so far.
My application for 2174 reached on 3-Oct-2014, now looking at this thread about capped categories I m thinking if I can send application for 2171 or 2173 now, any suggestions?

Nov and Dec APPLICANTS will also be looking at the ministerial time frame of 1 year for the FSW 2014.
I see CIC working at faster pace from January 2015 on all backlogs with respect to FSWs & PNPs.

For 2174-Your submitted application can't meet up because 03/10/14 is late for this NOC pls.
For 2171 or 2173-Your application can't meet up as well but you can try as there is no harm in trying.
Best Suggestion is to prepare for Express Entry coming up in JAN.2015.
